I'm a business analyst with 15 years of hands-on experience - from mapping broken processes in large retail operations to building financial models that actually get used. I hold a PhD in Environmental Monitoring Systems, a Master's degree in Management (with distinction), an MBA (with distinction), and an IPMA Level D certification in project management. That's not a list of credentials - it's the reason I can walk into almost any business domain and analyse it properly, not just from the surface.
My background is in process optimisation - taking something that works badly and making it work well, with fewer resources and less chaos. I've done this in retail, logistics and finance. The industries change; the methodology doesn't. Understand the current state honestly, design a better one realistically, and make sure someone actually implements it.
I've been based in the UAE for four years. In that time I've worked on projects locally - including a full logistics and supply chain setup for a UAE retail company - and remotely across multiple markets. The UAE is an extraordinary place to do business, and an equally extraordinary place to see what happens when accountability is missing. I built my practice around being the exception to that.
